Pandemonium
Working title of my first novel, set in Vanuatu (then the New Hebrides) during the Second World War, in the period between the fall of France and the colony’s rallying to de Gaulle.

Fletcher Presiding
A comedy of manners and errors about bad decision-making: the Wellington Harbour Board during the 1913 waterfront strike.
It is written as a choose-your-own-adventure. The board is deadlocked and the audience makes three decisions about how it plays out. Those decisions lead to one of three endings: the actual outcome, or one of two alternative histories, both of which have been speculated about in research.
It was first written as a musical and entered in the 2017 Wellington Fringe Festival, then withdrawn before the season. The script stands and can be staged as a straight play.
Mambo Italiano
My adaptation of Steve Galluccio’s play, which I produced as a student production for a four-day season at BATS Theatre, Wellington, in 2016. Directed by Anastaisa Matteini-Roberts.
